During the summer of 2022, I wrote a novella titled, A State of Being. It is a reworked version of something I wrote years ago on the theory of multiverses. A short story I found in a box in the attic. Of all the clichéd methods of discovery, that’s how it happened. And now, I have a final manuscript proofread and copyedited ready to submit to publishing houses. Wish me luck.
I have also started two other projects. Though the jury is still out on whether they should stay short stories or be developed into novellas.
The first is more of a straight-up sci-fi. My own take on there being a parallel dimension to ours.
My second project is an experiment into the beatnik style of writing stories, about a naïve teen twisted and corrupted by the adults he comes into contact with.
But these are ongoing and have no scheduled finishing dates.
